Jácome Family
A memorial to the Jácome family stands in Jácome Plaza "in recognition of the contributions of three generations of the Jácome family in Tucson: hard working citizens, pioneers of downtown retailing, and patrons of the arts." The Jácome's Department Store was a family owned and operated, in business for 84 years, and helped create a retail hub in downtown Tucson.
