A cost study is conducted as needed to determine the fees that a benefiting customer will pay for various water installations (such as metered connections to the water system and hydrants) and other services received. The 2013 study was reviewed by the Citizens’ Water Advisory Committee and recommended for forwarding to the Mayor and Council. On May 21, 2013, following a public hearing, the Mayor and Council approved and adopted the FY 2013 Miscellaneous Fee Study. These fees, which remain in effect, are in addition to the CAP Water Resource Fee and the System Equity Fee.

Note: Installation fee for a meter in excess of 2 inch is determined by Tucson Water based on field conditions and provided in written quotation to the customer.
