Drop off items labeled acid, flammable, caustic, poison, caution, toxic, danger, or warning at a Household Hazardous Waste site.
The program was formed in 2009 to protect public health and safety, and promote protection of the environment and preservation of groundwater quality through safe collection and disposal of unwanted medications and personal care products. Partners include the Pima County Health Department, the City of Tucson, Tucson Water, the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, the Household Hazardous Waste Program, and other area organizations. Dispose-A-Med is free, safe, secure and confidential.
