This one-time fee recovers the capital cost of the water system infrastructure necessary to serve new users connecting to the isolated system. It assessed at the time of meter application.
Tucson’s Mayor and Council held a public hearing on the fee on September 7, 2005, and adopted the fee on September 27, 2005. The fee became effective December 27, 2005.
The fee schedule is based on meter size.
