On Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Fourth Avenue Underpass will be closed to vehicular traffic as crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) Streets and Traffic Maintenance Division reconstruct the median island at the north side of the underpass to install a remote controlled traffic gate for the southbound travel lane.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2015, crews from Sunland Asphalt, under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), will begin work to improve the pavement conditions on Speedway Boulevard from Second Avenue to Campbell Avenue.
Crews will begin the project with the lowering of manhole covers and water valve covers. Lowering the utility covers is scheduled to be complete by Friday, June 5, 2015. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

On Wednesday, June 3, 2015, crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT), Streets and Traffic Maintenance Division will replace the conductors for the pedestrian push buttons on traffic signals at Broadway and Randolph Way. The work will take place between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. During this time, traffic signals at the intersection will not be operational; stop signs will be placed at Randolph Way and the exit from El Con Mall. Only right turns will be allowed at the stop signs.
