Parks

Our parks are great places to exercise, play, learn, picnic, and relax. Tucson Parks and Recreation operates and maintains parks throughout Tucson, including Active and Passive Recreation Parks, Natural and Cultural Resource Parks, River Parks and Greenways, Plazas, and Gardens. In addition, the department also maintains many undeveloped park properties, which may be developed in the future, and Open Space properties, which are preserved as open space.
